French company ramps up aviation investment cooperation

At the meeting, CEO of ABE Stephane Castet said his company hopes to bring its ecosystem to Vietnam, with a focus on Bac Ninh, to promote investment and the development of aviation services and trade.

ABE plans to continue organising the Aviation Industry Exhibition 2026 in Hanoi and has invited Bac Ninh to participate with its own exhibition booth. The company also proposed holding an international aviation exhibition in Bac Ninh in 2027, while studying the possibility of investing in an aviation equipment manufacturing plant and high-quality workforce training programmes.

Speaking at the meeting, Thinh said Bac Ninh has strong advantages in high-tech industries, electronics, semiconductors and precision engineering, supported by a well-developed transport infrastructure that enables the province to participate more deeply in the global aviation supply chain.

He called on ABE to help connect Bac Ninh with leading aviation corporations and associations in France and Europe, while coordinating investment promotion activities in Europe.

Bac Ninh will facilitate the implementation of cooperation projects by ABE and its partners, thereby contributing to the development of the province's aviation industry ecosystem, Thinh added.

During the meeting, both sides also discussed potential cooperation in workforce training, aviation logistics, aircraft maintenance and component manufacturing at industrial parks associated with Gia Binh International Airport.
