Vietnam’s farm produce exports rose at the beginning of the year after China ended its ‘zero Covid’ policy and reopened its borders. “The Ministries of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD), Industry and Trade (MOIT) and Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) are committed to do everything they can to boost trade with China and to ensure that trade of the two partners develops sustainably,” Hoan said, adding that Vietnam is trying to shift from selling farm produce to China across border gates to exporting products through official channels.
